Taking a full load of summer classes. While I am very motivated during the year, I am having a hard time hitting the books when it's 75 and sunny outside. Already went out on the boat today, did some gardening with my wife, and plenty of neffing on AT. Hmm running out of distractions think Im gonna have to crack the book before my class tonight...

And actually get paid for my efforts? What a novel concept! I must try it sometime.

It doesn't help that my three classes are a walk in the park. I scored a 100 on my Stat quiz yesterday even though I haven't read the chapter and in class read my fantasy novel instead of taking notes. These are supposedly junior and senior level classes too

I just finished Game of Thrones by George RR Martin. It was quite exquisitely written novel, but I was disappointed by the lack of magic, dragons, trolls, et al. Not really a "fantasy" novel as much as an intrigue or mystery book. So I started on Terry Brooks' Sword of Shannara yesterday. Much more fantasy elements in it, but not as expertly penned as George RR Martin.

BTW, what's up with using double R middle initials. Is he trying to mimic/honor JRR Tolkein or just coincidence?

How old are you?

Just wondering..you seem to be married and off on your own, but are still on college?

You don't have to tell me if you don't want to :)

I know a few married college students. They tend to be between 23-26, IMO.

But there aren't any Juniors or Seniors at that age for undergrad. And the classes he described don't sound very gradschool-ish. must've married fairly early, eh? :)

Don't assume that everyone graduates at 22. I'm 22 and wont graduate for 2 more years. I work full time and cant take 16 units/semester.
