it's too bad the bastards got out of jail so quick...... I was involved in a big accident, the guy's first DWI ever... but he was such a low-life and so incompetent up on the stage, he got 10 years in the state pen. 5 before he's even eligible for parole. it's pretty reassuring to think of him gettin plugged menacingly every night as I lay in my big comfy bed..

Viewer discretion is advised.

Reading this definetly changed me.

that will not get me not to drink and drive.

WTF

I am one of those people that when police tried to scar us in high school not to drink and drive by showing what could happen I just said whatever. So when I see this kind of pictures/story it don?t' affect me in one way or the other.

So you're going to do it anyway?

I hope a drunk driver hits you before you have a chance to hit someone else.

Sheesh!

Seeing dead bodies I can handle.

Seeing someone's head ripped off and stuck on a fence post I can stand.

Seeing this almost made me vomit! I really feel sorry for her. She's much stronger than I am. I would've lost the will to live in I was in her place.

The guy who did this to her really should have his head stuck in a gas oven.

So you just said...'whatever', eh? What is that, some kind of 'can't affect me, macho sh!t'?????? So are you one of those people who 'thinks' they live life in the fast lane, doesn't phase me.....right.

I know your type all too well, all talk - making people think your just a incompassionate ass, but you know as well as everyone else on this board that if you were in that kids shoes (the drunken driver) you definately would be 'affected'. You are human right?

No doubt, I'm starting to think that many people here have an official 'anandtech repost' button on their keyboard. You know, there ARE some posts that are valid to 're-post' once in a while.

Yes I am human and yes if that happened to me it would affect me the same way it affected her.

A very sad story, just read all 17 pages.

As for the guy, his sentence was ridiculous. Should've been life in prison. Mistakes can be forgiven, but they should always be repaid. He got off easy. Parole in 4 years is bullsh*t.

Ylen13, I truly hope you're not serious.

Actually I am. I do agree if I knew her personally it would affect me but I gotten to the point were all the message/pictures media/ government tries to use to get us either not do something or do something that I began to ignore all of them.

Well, here is a direct question for you.

Do you drive while legally intoxicated?

So you don't think it's a good idea for the government and media to educate people about drunk driving and that it is wrong?

So what you are saying is you are nothing but a rebel? "They say I can't do it, so I will!"

I am willing to bet 100 bucks that you are under the age of 18. Just wait until you grow up.

For your info I am 22, government should continue some of it but not the high school presentation. Teenagers this day seen allot of shocking stuff on the net so when they stage that in high school teens don't get affected by them like teen were 10 years ago or so.

Some people learn by seeing, other's by hearing, and some idiots just have to stick their hands on the stove to see what happens.
