The half shafts, maybe. His driveshaft probably has giubo joints on it.

So finally decided to watch it.

Made for drag racing or not, any stock car should be able to handle anything a person can throw at it. Especially on street tires. It's not like he threw 1000 HP through the stock axles and hot slicks.
