The test is entirely anonymous. None of your personal details are required, and nothing about your result is recorded or logged in any way. The answers are only used to calculate your reading, and cannot be accessed by anyone, ever.

LOL! :p

If economic globalisation is inevitable, it should primarily serve humanity rather than the interests of trans-national corporations.

Say what??? Someone explain that to me.

I got this

Economic Left/Right: -0.38
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 1.54

If someone could go through each question and explain the more difficult ones I'd be greatfull.

On Fiscal Issues, you rank as a Strong Conservative (85).

Good grief! No wonder everyone up here looks like a liberal to you.
Ahhhh grasshopper.....you are starting to understand. ;)

This was the one that initially stumped me, although I get it on further review:

From each according to his ability, to each according to his need is a fundamentally good idea.

I guess I'm close to the Dalai Lama or Nelson Mandela, but they are more left/libertarian

edit: For other test I'm squarely in Libertarian territory.

On Non-Fiscal Issues, you rank as a Moderate Liberal (38).
On Fiscal Issues, you rank as a Moderate Conservative (70).

The last test I did was a very poor indication of me. I had to answer no opinion on many questions because they did not have proper choices, plus many of the questions were half hearted at best. Very poor test so the answer was of course screwed up. Plus most of the answers that should be Lib went Conservative, which is again wrong.

Piss poor test.

Especially when every other test I take is the same, except this one.

Soo...there ya go...I'm hardly a "lib"

I hear cosmo has some really in depth and thourough tests as well. If that is your denial of being a liberal, then I would have to wonder why you have such a problem admitting it.

Was about -3 on both axis. I knew I'd be close to the center, but I'd expected to be a little more to the right side of things not the left. Oh well.

It tends to vindicate my belief that very few people are actually "conservatives" and that the so-called conservatives not only do not represent the real views of the vast majority, but get disproportionate media attention as well.

On Non-Fiscal Issues, you rank as a Strong Liberal (18).
On Fiscal Issues, you rank as a Moderate Liberal (38).

Your political compass
Economic Left/Right: -4.25
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.31

Looks like I'm one of the more liberal members of this board.

Umm, this test is bullshit. Technically the Liberatarian stance is a faaaaaaaaar right stance. Anarchy would be the flip on the left.

Your Economic Self-Government Score is 40%.

On Non-Fiscal Issues, you rank as a Moderate Liberal (24).
On Fiscal Issues, you rank as a Centrist (40).
Your score is on a scale of 0 to 100, with 0 being fully liberal and 100 being fully conservative.

On Non-Fiscal Issues, you rank as a Moderate Conservative (62).
On Fiscal Issues, you rank as a Moderate Conservative (75).

Problem with this survey, no war/terror questions.

As I've mentioned before, the politcal compass one is severly flawed, basically pushing everyone to the center or the left. Example, unless you are polling KKK members, who's going to agree with this?

"Our race has many superior qualities, compared to other races."

The advocates one is pretty flawed too :) I scored left centrist. Your Personal Self-Government Score is 70%. Your Economic Self-Government Score is 50%.

War/terror questions don't have to do with Democrat/Republican liberal/conservative. Let's face it, they have to do with whether you're an idiot or not. Sorry if that's harsh.
