Why no X2 AM2 at newegg?

Anyone know why monarch is the only etailer with all AM2 in stock? Or do they just plan to get them and already have them listed as in stock? If anyone could shed light on this I would greatly appreciate it.
 
cause the cpu's are still very new. newegg's supply of amd x2's isn't huge and the AM2 cpus just came out. give them a few days.
 
Ok, well there is no way they are out of stock because ive checked everyday and they havnt been listed yet. Only semprons and single cores. I want my x2 4000+ 🙁

Lol i guess you've been under an e-rock May 23rd was the release and newegg still doesnt have any X2 cpus.
 
If you want AM2 now, then get a $68 Sempron 2800+ and wait untill X2 is avalable in full quantity. Most of us can find $68 in the sofa and seat cusions of our cars. And when you finaly get your X2 you can either overclock the snot out of it for fun or sell it on ebay to recoporate most of the cost.

I see AM2 mobo and CPU on Newegg. Damn, I want an upgrade so bad. But I've been an AMD user for so long, I don't know if I wanna switch back to Intel. But Conroe is so damn fast... @#$%
 
Conroe at the moment is much faster with unbelieveable O/Cing but it's a wait and see what AMD does or doesn't do. Ain't this fun?
 
I dont plan on getting a AM2 processor. I am actually probably going to wait till the s939 processors start to go down and buy one of those. It's stupid that your going to have to purchase new ram + mobo + processor for basically no performance increase. Also DDR-2 is quiet expensive and high latency
 
Yes there will be opterons and there is an FX62. *Sigh* back to real question when can I expect to see X2s in stock next week?

I'm waiting for an AM2 X2 4200+ and an Asus M2R32-MVP to get on Newegg. And does anybody have the faintest idea when the CNPS9500-AM2 gets to Newegg?
