I think it would be cool to get a little KT400A ITX motherboard, in a Shuttle type case but had room for 2 5.25 in. bays. I know they have the nForce2 board, but you can't by that separate of the Shuttle case. (Can you?)

Shuttle PC's don't use mini-ITX, they use flex-ATX boards. Mini-ITX is a VIA created form factor used for their C3 CPU's which is even smaller than flex-ATX. You could not put an AMD Athlon or P4 on a board as small as a mini-ITX form factor.

The KT400 is not used because there is no integrated graphics. The current Shuttle bare-bones system uses chipsets with integrated video such as the i845GE and the nforce2.
