Dell Mini/Streak 5. 5" screen, MID-first/Phone second device. Will be on T-Mobile.
800x480 resolution.
There will also be the Streak 7 and 10 (7" and 10" respectively, but I believe they will be running WinMo, not Android).
Edit: Correction, the Looking Glass (Streak 7?) is slated to be an Android device too.
No official release date. Dell says "Late summer" for the Streak 5, everyone else is saying "Late 2010" for it, Engaget says November. Streak 7 is slated for 2011.I would like to buy one now please.
Just wait, the dell streak is coming soon
Has anyone heard any rumors about larger screen Android devices?

but... you ask for rumors. you're basically stuck waiting till fall. I don't know if we'll see many 4.3" phones, seems a bit too large for a phone. I find the iPhone awkward enough using as a phone. Yet, I'll still likely get the EVO. Might as well go all out if it's going to be awkward.

I think the Evo may well be LESS awkward to use as a phone than the 3G/3Gs iPhone because of the straight sides versus the rounded side of the iPhones. It is interesting that the next iPhone. if the leaked info is to be believed, will have a straighter side.
But, if the iPhone is too big for you then why the hell would you even consider the Evo?

I've had the HD2 for about a month and a half now, and I do think its a bit too big. It fits in my pocket fine, and holding it to talk on the phone is fine, its usage on the screen. I don't have the biggest hands, so if I'm holding it one handed, stretching my thumb from one corner to the other is awkward. I think something in the 3.8-4" range would be better.
do you have hands like the guy in the Burger King commercial? Cause that would just be awesome!

Why one handed -- you aren't by chance texting while you drive are you?
If the HD2/Evo is too big then the new iPhone may be more to your liking. If the new iPhone had a larger screen I might stay with them (have a 3G) but since the screen size on the new iPhone is by all accounts SMALLER at, like 3.5 inches, I will be getting the Evo.
I think there is the potential, with the right design, for a practical cell phone with a 5 inch screen so long as it has a minimum bezel on all sides. It will be interesting to see how successful the Evo is and if other models with as large or even larger screens appear and are also popular. It I were designing a new cell phone I'd go the whole nine and go with a 5 inch screen with 1920x1280 resolution. Even with a absolutely minimum bezel this phone would be larger than the Evo so it will be real interesting to see just how popular the larger phones become. Wanna bet the iPhone in 2011 will have a larger screen?
