Why no Ferrari in Need for Speed Most Wanted?

They put all the expensive BMW, Mercedes, Lamborghini and Porsch, but they didn't put Ferrari in Need for Speed Most Wanted.

Anyone know why?

Same thing happened with PGR3. They didn't get the Porsche license so they have the RUF RTurbo (which is a Porsche knockoff) instead.

thats odd because they used to have ferraris in the older NFS's so i wonder what happened there

ferrari are pretty stuck up about things like this......i took photos of a F430 in their NYC showroom an they said sorry sir no photo's can you please delete the ones you took (so i deleted one and said all gone...kept about 5)

yet i went in the mercedes store and the salesmen were only too happy to let me snap away at the Merc SLR, and the maybach guys even let me get in the Maybach!


and lol at the guy who thinks RUF = cheap porsche knock off...............given the choice of porsche or RUF, RUF would win every time.

maybe they dont like their cars to be pimped with bodykits? ie not portraying the racer image, or they dont like people to see their cars getting damaged in games.

tho GT4 had no damage and no body kits, and its the best console race sim on the planet and they dont have ferrari either.

Well, I didn't mean to denigrate the RUF. LOL Just saying that PGR3 didn't get the Porsche license but got the RUF...which is a different license but still a Porsche.

Last Need for Speed I played was Need For Speed High Stakes and it had a Ferrari in it, that was in 1998.

Since then I played GTA 3, VC and SA, I didn't like the Underground series at all, now I play Most Wanted and I love it, but Ferrari is missing in action.

Technically RUF is a Car company, they build cars, and simply use porsche bodies. But they do also tune porsches. Which I guess kinda of makes them both. I've had this debate many many times.
