Why no AnandTech Forum Games Category??

thatsright

I'm really surprised that there is no ATF>Gamers Category. A pretty good guesstimate I would think that at least 99% of ATF members are casual to Hardcore gamers.

And I think that there would be so much traffic in the 'Games' category that it would set itself apart from the Software-Apps etc Category.

Just my $0.02

Seriously. Move games OUT of software. The people who are actually writing software would love to not have to sort through a bunch of half-life 2 posts to find something that's acutally interesting.

Edit: Also, the half-dozen LAN party threads at the top of OT could go in the damn games forum, and I wouldn't have to look at them anymore.

Ya, atgamers.com is always here. I just wish some more people would come and post! Devious had found us someone to make a skin for the forums, but he's dragging ass I think. I'll give an update on the status of the new skin when I catch him back online.

Everyone knows

Console > PC

😉

but that would still count as "games" right?
all the more reason for a seperate forum.
make the consolers feel more welcome.

Seriously, the way it is now is stupid. I havent looked in software/programming/games in ages because I know that its dead there. The software people shouldnt be mingling with the programming people with the gamers. Its too diluted, and pushes everyone apart instead of bringing them together.

Replace peripherals with games. Wtf is that for anyway? That could just be subsumed by general hardware.
