<<It doesn't contain ABIT boards b/c they don't follow AMD guidelines on hiding real CPU frequency, maybe. Or something else similar. I have to say that there can be hardly found a good board from ABIT. Yes, they look nice on paper, but when you take a closer look at the PCB you can feel dissapointment. I mean, they look like some low quality stuff. And they very rarely update the BIOS, for some models - never. ECS looks way better, IMVHO. >>
Are you high!! Look at all the trouble posts for ECS, and then compare that to the trouble posts for Abit. You won't get past 10 posts to find an ECS board "problem" at any time here. Abit is only awarded the Editor's Golden Award here on Anandtech reviews of the KT266A's. Where is ECS on that review?? Are you saying the quality of a $55 board compares to the quality of an Abit? 4 working DIMM's, 6 PCI slots. Not creating a flame war, but do some research before you start bashing Abit. As for the bios updates- if you get it right to start, you don't need updates every month.
