Why new action shows can't hold a candle to the A-Team

I was watching TNN this morning, right after i woke up, and I caught the A-team, just like i do every morning, and came to a realization.

It's not like i grew up with the show, i was born the year it was cancelled.

No new action TV shows can even compare to it. I mean, that show was the perfect blend of everything an action show should have. I salute you, A-team.

Especially B.A.

I concur

Chraticn, The A-Team is yet another reason why TNN is one of the best cable channels IMO 🙂

Right on man. When was the last time a Television show had a good old fashion explosion or 3 or 4 car pile up.

What about the Dukes of Hazard.

The 80's ruled for car chases, crashes, and explosions.

My favorite facet of the A-Team mystique: In all the years they were running, and with all the bullets they fired, they never killed a single person. How's THAT for traditional values and child-safe programming, baby!

Didn't the same thing happen in the G. I. Joe cartoon? I think it was just a sign of the changing times 🙂

Face and Murdock were great supporting actors 🙂

I seriously watched every replay of that show...loved it as a kid. That and MacGuyver...Magnum P.I., not as much.

Normal people watch old shows and realize how crappy they were.

All shows start looking crappy after some time. I am sure even X-Files is going to start looking crappy.
