Dude, how is it wrong if I was already planning on buying the book anyway? It's perfectly legal (at least, in this country) to download pirated DVD-rips if you already have the DVD yourself.

well its not legal in the US which governs the copyright laws on this property as well as DVDs ..
your a pirate and your scum... people like you are destroying the industry and ruining things for regular consumers.

And they killed Jesus and blew up the space shuttle.

LOL!

Pirating books make baby Jesus cry.

It's not like the book was $100 dollars. It was $15 at many places for crying out loud, and you wasted all of that paper and toner, geez.

The people in this thread are morons. The op stated what he was gonna do: buy the book later cause the store was closed. You guys act like him and his father plotted the murder of GWB.

A complete waste, because he was going to buy the book anyway. Yeah, I'm sure he was...

Vegitto is cool. I can only aspire to the levels of sheer coolness that he achieves every day.

I too downloaded the book, but only so I could start reading it because I hadn't been able to get to a store to buy it. And yes, I bought it, yesterday morning.

Calm down guys, it's not a big deal.

Most of us don't download illegal music.

Alright, so now he has a copy of the Book, and a printed e-Book for his dad.

How is it wasted, exactly?

I'd rather pirate stuff than purchase something from wal-mart.

Even though I know you don't mean it, you'll be the first one to recieve $100,000 when I win the lottery (which will be never, but it's the thought that counts).

Dude, I'm gonna get the book tommorow in the afternoon, I'll even post a pic if you don't believe me. Happy?

EDIT: Stores that are open 24 hours a day don't exist where I live. Stores from 9 to 5 in weekdays, closed on Saturday and Sunday.

I find it ironic that the guy who claimed to have 2000 DVDs in a post a few weeks ago is being judgemental of the OP. That's the equivalent of buying 15-20 DVDs per month and about $20K-$30K in cash. Assuming you bought them all LEGALLY, of course.

Oh, and it's "you're" not "your"....

What he would do with it was his little secret, I'd find out, he said. Well, he just came back from work, and guess what? He let some kind of machine produce a real book! Here, take a look. There's no cover, so the first page is the cover, hence the spoiler warning. Here, you can see the book in close up, the letters barely readible. But, here, you can see an extreme close up.

Ain't my dad awesome?

EDIT: The topic title was wrongly spelt, dealt with it.

Are you friggin retarded?

You admit that you and your dad pirate copyrighted works on a board w/ over 100k users?
