My HD 7850 keeps crashing so I was thinking of upgrading to the 8600 GT.

8600 > 7850

Plus the 8600 has G-Force!

Only question is if i should save money by getting the refurbished one or if the XFX is better than the MSI?

The XFX is cheaper at $555.24 + $13.49 SHIPPING!

Model numbers accross different manufacturers have never matched in any industry, video cards are no different.

Hmmm the Chevy 1500 must be better than the Ford F-350...

make sure to get an AMD 8150 cpu too as that must be over 3 times better than the lowly 2600 from Intel.
