I didnt ever hear about this place until 1999. Didnt know about the forums until 2000.
Didnt read them until 2001 and didnt join till 2003.

my boss found the site, he was into overclocking stuff. or maybe he found tom's hardware. actually i think he found tom's hardware, because i'm somewhat sure he had some good o/c'ng info on different motherboards. i dunno, that was a lifetime ago.

he traded a system for some chiropractic (sp?) work, but didn't have the right cpu so he o/c'd one that was a step below and gave the guy that. i want to say amd k6 233 to 266.

i guess it was 97 because apparently the geocities site wasn't around in 96. regardless, one time in the past i received an email from anand himself!
