Why lock?

I'm not sure why this was locked, but I'll guess it was considered the wrong forum. Therefore I'll ask it again in other areas...maybe tech support. If there's some other reason it was locked speak now or forever hold your peace.
 
That was my assumption, but usually when I do that it just gets moved. That's why I asked, didn't want to step on toes.

edit: actually now that I think about it I haven't had a thread moved in a long time. Did mods stop doing that and just lock em now? Just curious.


We can move them for the nOObs and for OPs that ask but if we think a person should know better, we lock them.
