That is great. Can citizens get that same treatment? If a citizen is put into a tense situation and kill somebody. Do they get that same benefit of the doubt? Why not? They are not trained to handle tense situations. So why does a cop who is trained for these situations have less burden to do the right thing?

In quite a few cases normal people have gotten the benefit of the doubt, look at the Zimmerman case. Had the lynch mob not called for him to be arrested the police would have given him the benefit of the doubt and not charged him in accordance with the self defense laws of Florida.

Cops can't be indicted because they are not ham sandwiches. Everyone knows that a competent DA can get a grand jury to indict a ham sandwich, which they do quite often. The public are the ham sandwiches they indict.

Cops are delicious bacon and real patriots love their bacon, thus they will never be indicted.
