Why isn't there an audio forum?

We have a video forum, and I would love to discuss audio (everything from sound cards to home theater to headphones to recording equipment) with my fellow sound enthusiasts, so how about a dedicated audio forum?

Perhaps there isn't an audio forum because the General Hardware (discuss new or upcoming soundcards, and general soundcard issues here) and Peripherals (have a problem with your soundcard? this is the place) forums already exist. Unless you have never been to Forum Issues more than once or twice before, you can not be excused for asking this question. It comes up every few days, and the official answer is "It won't be happening." :frown:

Although I doubt it would help, perhaps the constant flow of new forum posts could be slowed if the Moderators would place a sticky at the top of Forum Issues stating "New Forums Won't Be Happening!"

but what about headphones (grado and sennheiser discussions going on in hot deals!)? all the speaker threads in OT? (z560s vs promedia 4.1! how many times have we seen that one? ) car audio threads in OT!

There have been a number of condom deals in hotdeals, you want a condom forum also?
