Why isnt MSNBC/CNBC showing the hockey games?

Russia v Belarus is going on right now, and it isn't on TV like the schedule said it would be.

that happened last weekend too. i noticed on monday and all week it was on CNBC though. i don't know why that is but it really pissed me off.

I'm sure NBC will mangle it into a 10 minute highlight tonight set to some stupid music. Thank God I have CBC by me and they will most likely carry every hockey game in it's entirety.

When you compare the coverage between CBC and NBC it is like night and day. At least CBC carries events live and doesn't have too many corny sideshows. If you watch a CBC broadcast during the day and watch the edited version of the same thing at night on NBC, you can really tell how much NBC butchers the events so they can fit a little of everything in a couple of hours.

American coverage just doesnt cut it with hockey.
