Why is Vanna White so selfish?

Who the hell else is going to give her a job? Her resume consists of 20 years of touching blank TVs to make letters appear on them.

If she gets ratings, she stays.
Soon as the public decides to stop watching she will disappear.

Of course, its possible only sorry losers have those Nielson boxes.

uhh.... Hasn't the screen thing only been for the last few years?

I remember her actually turning letters those big triangular blocks.

I think that's about ten years old now.

But yeah, with modern technology, she's pretty obsolete now.

Vanna personally was never necessary to begin with. She was always eye-candy to keep people coming back.
And given how long they've been running, I'd say it works.

I wonder how her daughter will turn out?

She is only 15 right now but could be something to keep a eye on when she hits legal age.

i hope she is replaced with a hologram of herself walking across and turning letters. pat can be replaced the same way too. they will never have to leave the show. even pats jokes can be rehashed randomly and nobody could tell the difference.

I think they had to have a stage hand someone to turn those letters back in the day. Might as well make it a chick.

The show's prime audience is getting older too. They probably wouldn't appreciate her being tossed out for some 20 year old model.

Anyway, she still looks pretty damn incredible to me. She's also classy and graceful. I went to a taping of the show a couple of years ago when they were in New Orleans, and I have no idea how she managed to walk in the dress she was wearing for one of the shows. Some local designer had made it for her and it was huge.

I've always liked her, though. Apparently when I was 5 I used to tell my parents I was going to marry her when I grew up. Didn't happen. :(

I wonder whether someone who watches Wheel of Fortune or The Price Is Right is more likely to have a hip replacement.
