When I am driving on a road trip everthing is fine but when I am a passenger on a road trip........... I frigging fall alseep all the time........... why is this? :confused:

my wife is the same way. you fall asleep because you are not doing anything. the white noise of the car and the road whipping by are a hypnotic effect and relax you.

ur more active while driving, being the passenger does not involve you to be that active, thus you tend to slack off and get tired

and you're not paying as much attention because the safety of the passengers isn't in your hands.
