When i go to device manger and under network adapters i see two of them one is Intel(R) PRO/100 VE Network connection and the other one is 1394 net adapter. why is this there. and is this good to have.
 
IEEE 1394 is firewire. It is possible to setup a network connection over firewire, but the Intel NIC is definitely a better solution.
 
It will always come back. You have a Firewire port in your system and this comes as part of the setup for it. It does not hurt you or pose any additional load on your PC. If it really bothers you, best you can do is 'Disable it in this profile".

BUT, if you ever have to use your Firewire port you will discover that chances are it will not work properly. See, Firewire does not work exactly as USB. Go ahead and disable it but keep it in mind if you evere use Firewire.
 
Make sure that it is a Disabled pforgile in the properties. Otherwise it might try to build a Network Bridge and get you into trouble.
