Why is this all I get at a hospital in the ER ? 4g LTE only no 5G iPhone 14 Pro Max

Hospitals will tend to have spotty service as they tend to be built of mostly concrete and steel. Also some rooms such as ERs are well shielded so depending where you are in the hospital you can end up with poor signal. I used to do IT in one and even wifi could be spotty in some places despite plenty of access points. RF is tricky business.

5G is also very high frequency so does not tend to go as far. I've only ever seen 5G show up on my phone once. I didn't even realize we had it here.

If you're not sure what a part is just cut it out and bring it in the waiting room and ask if anyone there is a super smart person and if they know what it is. Some things just require team work.
