Why is this 5 bed 2 bath 2 car house $59,900 ?

LOL that mortgage payment example of $310/month is lower than some people's car payment.

There's gotta be something wrong with the house, land, title, neighborhood, crime stats, next to a graveyard and train station and nuclear silo.

Something isn't right.
 
First of all it's in Mo. (Where I grew up..SO I can dis it)

Secondly it's probably haunted... (A Lot of places were where I grew up)
 
A house like that in this area (SF Bay Area) would set you back anywhere from $400,000 to $700,000 depending on location. You could probably rent a room here for the asking price of that house.
 
I'm tempted to call the listing agent and ask. That just can't be the median price for a 5 bedroom house in Missouri.

Maybe not, but it's not really that far out of line with the other prices on that page.

Hey! Are you watching the Discovery channel too? They just had a New Detectives or some show like that where a guy killed his wife, 3 kids, and his mother and then laid their bodies in the parlor side by side. They stayed like that for a month until the police did a welfare check and found them. Then the guy eluded capture for 18 years with a fake identity.
