Why is there such a big price difference between the Dell 1907 and the 2001FP?

I can get the 1907 for about $250.00 shipped yet the 2001FP is still hovering in the $400/450 range. Why such a big jump in price for an inch of real estate space?

1280x1024/19" monitors are what people buy a lot. far less people actually buy 1600x1200 20" LCDs and above. think about it. how many people do you know own a 2405FPW? heh...
