So you are saying that stupidity and voting for Democrats is correlated

😎

So Republicans are calling everyone making under $75K per year stupid now?

That tends to happen when you don't control the poverty limit for local cost of living and presume a single person making $11,670/year is just as poor in NYC as they are in BFE.

That's a valid complaint, although if memory serves red states still suffer from higher poverty.

WTF would that be a more relevant thing to look at?

Well I mean other than the fact that looking at the more relevant measure makes it pretty clear that poor people are far more like to vote Democrat.

The smart poor people are. But GOP still gets its share of poor useful idiots voting against their own self interest.

You mean other than because it was the question the OP asked?

At least those dumb Democrat voters know how to read, huh.

Why are there so many black people in Republican states? Would have thought black people would migrate to Dem states where people aren't racist.

There are 46 million people at or below the poverty line, there are about 39 million African Americans in this country. Are you saying a majority of black people are poor?

Well, only about 10 million blacks are poor, there goes your ignorant thinking.

What? He didn't say they were poor, he said why don't they move where there's less racist people. Guess that goes to show you don't pay attention or understand much of what you read.

WTF are you talking about?

Mississippi, as an example, has a poverty rate of 22.6%. In 2012 43.79% of people in Mississippi voted for Obama.

People in poverty in Mississippi could easily have all voted for Obama with the results exactly the same. Reducing things to blue state vs. red state binary is utterly retarded when better numbers are available.

The numbers indisputable show that people in poverty are far more likely to vote Democrat.

No they don't. What if most poor people don't bother to vote?
I'd bet a large number of those who do vote would be the rural Christian right types too

Okay lets think about this a moment.

(1) Facts clearly show that the poor people that do currently vote, they vote Democrat 2-1

(2) You are claiming that there are many non-right wing poor people who are staying home.

So if these left-wing poor people instead came out to vote would this increase or decrease the ratio of poor people voting Democrat?

It's no use. I've learned from here that "facts" are just whatever someone is insisting on at a given moment.

Today, all of a sudden and magically, the poor vote mostly Republican.

I mean, not a single fact to back that up, but whatever, this is P&N and so facts are just whatever someone insists is true for the sake of the current argument.

What facts are those exactly? The graph that was posted that only looked at salaries of college graduates?

The Government is in the business of creating "poor."

They are very happy that there are a bunch of poor, southern, folks.

Post us another Photoshopped magazine cover to prove your point.

^ Case in point.

So those that do vote, vote mostly Republican?

Also, what's the answer to Nehalem's question in post #42?
