Why is there FiberGlass in Menthol ciggarettes?

I know that there's fiberglass in chew so that it cuts you and gives a bigger buzz, and addicts you better. Not sure about cigs though

the cuts you get from chewing are really small, you can't fell it really, after a while you can see that your lip gets a bit rough, thats about it. they put it in there so that the nicotine (sp) gets into your system faster... not sure why it's in menthol ciggarettes.

Hmmm...I'm also very curious to know why and if there is fiberglass in Cloves and Menthols. I've heard it, but never confirmed.

actually the cuts are very noticeable and eventually hurt bad, but it's a good pain. it's hard to explain how that pain is good until you've done it for awhile 🙁

Ok, here we go...did a little bit of research.

Menthols and cloves are RUMORED to contain fiberglass for the purpose of making micro cuts in the smoker's throat and mouth for more and quicker absorbtion of nicotine. People assumed this to be true because of two reasons:
1) People thought that there were these fiberglass additives because they figured there were additives in the cigarettes since they were not just tobacco...keep in mind that ALL cigarettes (in the US) have something like 600 things added to 'em.
and
2) Cloves and Menthols tend to numb the throat so the smoker can take fatter hits, get more stuff in the lungs.

Ok, thanks...everyone should try not to smoke too much I guess.
