IF we continue the way we are, the govt is going to bankrupt us, then bankrupt itself. OR we can feed congress all it wants and let it bankrupt itself, or bankrupt us now? pay now or pay later?

As long as this country continues to vote itselt bread and circuses we are in the end screwed. The low end pays no taxes to get govt services and even gets a welfare credit. The lower half of the income earners pay little or no taxes and receive enough govt services so they do not see a need for a change in a govt. Until everyone pays a flat amount for taxes, and they pay it quarterly without withholding, I do not see much change in the system.

Yes and a lot of Democrats help Mr Reagan pass those budgets to take down the soviet union in the cold cash war. It worked and Soviet Union fell, now we should tighten our belt just a little and pay down the debt to a reasonable level.
