why is the Hummer H2 considered "good"?

why is the H2 so expensive? Actually, i don't understand why people like that car or why they are willing to shell out some much for it. It's just another big SUV right? Personally, I think it's too big and quite ugly.

The only 3 vehicles i would ever begin to think about taking offroad are Jeeps, Humemrs, and Land Rovers - thoguh all of them since the 1980's all seem to have interriors that can't take being flooded and such.

Bah just pull up the carpet in the wrangler and pull the drain plugs if necessary. If you don't mind the lack of insulation leave the carpet out all the time.

People buy the H2 for "prestige" so they can show off when they drive.

I've got two 4runners, and i would 100% trust them off-road, not TOO hardcore since they're not souped up, but it seems sturdy enough to handle a lot of things

I dunno why they are considered good but they sure are ugly. My cousin drives one because she doesn't like driving sedans and I think it's a colossal waste of money.

Also, I think someone posted a picture here a while back of an H2 that was in a wreck and it looked like the front half was completely demolished....not exactly sturdy for a car that cost $50k.

stock they can handle light duty offroading no prob, but the upgrade potential is seriously limited and more costly for whats out there.

you could go monster garage and bolt on your own axle, i suppose
