Why is the BFG 6800OC 128meg so cheap?

I'm just wondering how Outpost/BFG can sell their 6800OC so cheap(249.99) even the vanilla 6800 from newegg is at least $30 more, and the BFG 6800OC from newegg is $299.99 At the going rate of the 6600GT, i'd much rather spend $25 more and get the 6800OC, with the added bonus of a good chance of the 4 extra pipes.

Outpost just has really good deals everyonce inawhile. When the X800 Pro cards first came out they had them for $340 for a few days.

For gaming certainly, for anything to do with video encoding/decoding I'd take the 6600GT.

you mean for gaming you'd take the 6800OC? i do very little video enc/dec, so thats not really an issue.
