It sounds weird, but some games require Physx to be installed, even if you don't have a Physx-capable GPU :(

This happened both with my old 5770, and now my 6950.

That's because they still use CPU-based Physx. Only a handful of games use hardware accelerated Physx, and even then they don't require it, it's just an option.

There is nothing wrong with steam, Been using it since it lunched (~2004) and so far never had any problems with my games.

Looks like Steam is also insanely overclocking your hardware so that you can play Metro maxed out. You shouldn't bitch about it.

Lol seriously. There`s no way you can run Metro maxed out with that hardware. Well maybe he`s running it at 640x480.

Steam will bring about the rapture tomorrow.

Edit: If the rapture does not happen tomorrow...."Steam failed to bring about the rapture today."

Steam will #$%# you in the a**, but won't have the common decency to give you a reach-around.

Steam made me reformat my hard drive.

This is true, because I could not connect, got no technical support, and finally just got fed up and reformatted. And finally, about four days later, I got some reasonable responses from steam. Too late guys!!

Sorry to end the chain of cheeky replies, but I could not think of a funny one and never miss a chance to complain about Steam or Bioware since the turned KOTOR into an MMO and consolized everything else.
