as long as embryos aren't harvested primarily for the stem cells then i am all for this kind of research.

Get some facts and then come back before spouting off generalizations fit for freshman high school newspaper reports.

they have been able to restore neuronal function to severed
rat spinal cord, using stem cells found under the rat gut. While this is promising,
it's still far from developed. ES cell research is stalled partially due to the difficulties in working with and establishing stem cell lines and the fragility of the these cells.
