Why is so little being spent on embryonic stem cell research.

if we can have a waiting period between asking to buy a gun and actually receiving said gun, why can't we have a waiting period between signing up for AT and actually posting on AT?

Because it has the potential to save tens of billions of lives.

They don't even have tens of billions of people. Some stats man you are.

I think he was referring to the lives that will be saved in the future as well, at least that's how I looked at it. 😛

That's how anyone with a brain looked at it.

And who gets to decide the age that a human life form becomes illegal to kill?

Didn't they semi-cure paralyzed mice or rats with this?

Good lord dude. You don't even know. /thread? 😛

Get some facts and then come back before spouting off generalizations fit for freshman high school newspaper reports.

they have been able to restore neuronal function to severed
rat spinal cord, using stem cells found under the rat gut. While this is promising,
it's still far from developed. ES cell research is stalled partially due to the difficulties in working with and establishing stem cell lines and the fragility of the these cells.

Listen to Dream Theaters - The Great Debate. They go though the arguments for an against this....... and it's a good song.
