Why is shipping so spensive?!?!

Why oh why oh why?!

I find racing seats (Corbeau) for my car, they're at a really, really good price...

BUt shipping is $240.00 for them shipping via FedEx GROUND. How the hell...

Anyone know if I can get shipping for them for like hundred something, instead of like $200+.

They weight 50lb's a box each. 🙁

High weight + Oversize I'm guessing. You won't find many better rates I'm afraid.

greyhound will ship stuff oversized for cheaper than that.....
there are ways to do it

Oversize fee is a bitch.

If they were 50lbs but in a small box it would probably be <$50

Maybe call the vendor and ask if they ship FOB to the station and you go pick it up? I bought a table saw, treadmill and many other big items and shipping was always less than $100.
