Why is Scrubs the only show on NBC that's not in HD?

I heard it's because it's not actually filmed in a studio, but rather some old hospital building. Costs too much money to drag out the hi-def recording stuff to that location.

That's what I heard, but I can't say for sure if it's the truth 🙂

That makes me sad. I feel like it's a shadow of what it once was.
 
i think theyre offering ZB 800,000 an ep for next season. They seem to just not care at all about storylines this season. Wasted 2 episodes on that clip show and the (only ep of scrubs i have ever turned off) stupid musical.

I hate to agree with this but was thinking the same thing tonight while watching it.

Its just lost its feel or something. Don't get me wrong, I still laugh here and there, but not like it used to make me.

Well with 1 or 2 more seasons, that's still 7/8 seasons total.

Not bad.

I agree, the musical....was too common and the clip episode was ridiculous.
 
There was an interview with Bill Lawrence where this was mentioned. Apparently they did do one episode in HD, but it didn't work out with the style of the show.

Andy Richter isn't funny. He was ok when he was on Conan O'Brien. I don't know why people keep giving him chances, and I can't believe they preempted 30 Rock for it. 30 Rock is hilarious.

I'm upset about this too.

But you know what even Friends wasn't shot in HD atleast the last two seasons and it NBC's ratings monster. You'd think they get Warner Bros to do it in HD.

They just bumped the main character's salary to 350k an episode.

It's gotta hit $1 million an episode before we gotta worry.
 
Damn, that makes me sad. I like Scrubs. I'm at Season 4 though... I don't watch TV--I just buy the DVDz as they come out. Guess I'll have to find a new show to start watching again.
