It isn't. How does your brain go from seeing a scarface t-shirt to assuming that person thinks it is the best gangster flick? Even a person wearing a sarface t-shirt might just really enjoy the movie even if they don't think it's the best gangster movie. Believe it or not people can wear t-shirts and say they love a movie without "championing" it as "the best" ganster flick.
In addition, how the hell can any of you know if a person entirely ignores the lesson of Tony Montana dying just because they're wearing a T-Shirt????
They could just as well be wearing the shirt for the *ENTIRE* point of the movie, and not just the fact that dude Montana was involved in the pentacle of illegal success. Guns, drugs, money, sex and drama, that's what Tony Montana was about. Unfortuneately, that's what a lot of the hood rasied are about, so they choose to show it.
Every ghetto mall is filled with T-Shirts that have an unimportant figure showboated on the front of it. Thugs who've not made it choose to look different in a cost effective way, chicks love it so it's also an easy way to get laid.
The Corleones were 10 time the ideal gangster that Tony Montana was; Michael Corleone was plotting, cold, and remained classy all the while. If you're going to be a "gangsta", why not idolize the best?
Gun play and action. I was out in Richmond at a *pimps ball* on new years eve and guns were goin off like crazy *everywhere* by 11 o'clock. Just the way they live boie, Tony Montana was a solo thug. The Corleones were class act screw ups, square ass white people gone bad. That's not what a thug wants to represent.
