Whether it's the radio, TV or newspaper, it seems you rarely see anything positive in news. The only positive thing you'll find is in sports, if the team you cheer for won. Other then that, it's always murders, robberies, house fires, accidents, etc. What's this world coming to?

Is it just the media trying to make the world seem so gloomy or is it just that, it's gotten this bad?

Not all news is. NBC Nightly news is actually running a whole making a difference series for the past 2 weeks specifically because people asked for good news.

..just heard on the radio: all the Y2K kooks are getting ready for the end of the world in 2012. :Q

Morbo: ... thankfully, the amazing talking horse was rescued and safely returned to the meat department.
Linda: Ahahaha! Turning to the less stupid portion of our broadcast, fuel prices hit an all-time high today due to the ongoing dark matter shortage.
