Why is NationStates's server so SLOOOOOOW?

Who hosts the NationStates site? It's ridiculously slow. I can hardly ever get anything accomplished.

Because they originally planned to have somewhere between 1000-3000 people playing....as of last week they had 40,000.....all things considered they are still doing a good job if you ask me.....

Yeah, some of the issues are biased, but that guy stated that some of the might be

Yup, that would explain it then.

I'm going to have to start playing at 5:30am before heading to the gym. It should run okay at that point, I think (but maybe not).
