Why is my WD 120JB running pio mode?

ok this is my config. Some reason i cannot get my Secondary master and alve to run DMA. I tried forcing it in the bios and i went the the device manager and told it to run dma if available, Anyone know whats going on?

Your main HD should always be pri. Master

My main drive is the primary master on promise controller, thats what i boot of of. Anyways i did swap the othe drives to the prmary controller and now they run udma but now the cdrom are running pio. But it doesnt seem like it affects their performance much so i think i will leave it alone for now
