Why does windows show my new 3500 winchester only running at 2.2 ghz?
I just put my first computer together so I'm new at this stuff but I bought the 3500 because the stock speed was supposed to be 2.4 ghz?

Any ideas on how to get it up to at least stock speeds??
 
You're at stock speed. The S754 Newcastle 3400+ is 2.4 GHz stock (S754 Clawhammer and S939 Newcastle 3400+ chips are still 2.2GHz, though), and I think the 3700+ and 3800+ are too.
