Why is my laptop randomly suhtting down? :S

I'm running a cs source server on my laptop... and I woke up this morning and the laptop was off. I turned it on again and it's been on for a few hours, then it suddenly did a proper shut down in windows. /Boggle, anyone know what it might be?

If that's the case, is there any way for me to turn it off so it doesn't automatically shut down due to overheating?

Although, I do think I've had it running much hotter before bnecause the fans werne't running that high.
