Hi,

I am connecting my Desktop to my walls using ADSL
and i plugged my notebook to the same router too.

I tried to download the same BT torrent(the actual movie)

how come my desktop can reach the speed of 200KB/s(which i think it is reasonable)
but my notebook can't even get 1KB/s?(or just 1KB/s)

I can browse and do everything perfectly fast, even downloading P2P and saving files from website, it can reach at least 90KB/s(internet explorer)

so what's wrong? I am using Bitcomet 0.62 on both Desktop and notebook.

Thanks

Do you have the appropriate BT ports forwarded on your router to your desktop? It so, that could cause the good DL on it and the crappy dl on your lappy.

If you are torrenting on two different systems you will need to port forward unique ports for both systems. (some clients can automatically work with other clients on the network).
