Well I know she doesn't surf those sites and there are no kids around. Her cookies are on but she only goes to ebay.com mail.yahoo.com and cnn.com. I've checked her recent links and history and I can't really see how she is getting it so many.

I set up a "virgin" account for my 83 year old grandma last year -- same thing. She kept saying, ""honey, someone sent you a message!" 
Among the enticements were the ubiquitous young naked coeds and numerous ads for male crotch enlargement pills.
btw, she was using telnet and did not have a web browser installed. I think people were just doing that guessing game with common names and hit her account, but there was a lot of it.

Are you sure its junk mail and not requested?
She's probably computer saavy enough to hide her tracks so if she's ever caught, she can say it just popped up.

She's getting the junk e-mail that you described because someone harvested her E-mail address from some where and sold it to a spammer. You need to hook your aunt up with "spamkiller" from McAfee if she has a POP E-mail account. This software should filter out at least 95% of the junk.
I dont know... I've been writing that recently on aim and then I started writing it in hopes of getting more people who read my thread to give me help. I think I like it though...
