there are many categories in which one can be moderate, and no one is dead center overall.
the definition of moderate may vary or a moderate option may not exist. does a satisfactory moderate option exist when you have the choice to have a parasite in you?
do both sides ever get more than half of what they want if everything is in the middle?
anyway, i think that moderates tend to be the best politicians because they can pretend to play both sides when all they really care about is charging people a stay out of jail fees.
and really, the only way to restore liberty is to abolish the executive State and to never replace it with another central govt, not even the articles of Confederation which were way too strong. and for the liberals who want equality to boost human happiness... you may not get equality without the State, but then you're not getting now and the State will never give it to you.
