the double cheeseburger $.01 more than the single?

I like the occassional nugget or cheeseburger meal when i'm in a hurry and can't eat healthy, but its not worth almost $6 (nugget meal)!

2 double cheeseburgers and 2 small fries is only $4.30. Its like 1/3 more food too!

What kind of crazy pricing scam is that?

No no.... the nugget combo and cheeseburger combos are nearly $6

But the double cheeseburger (to buy 2) is $2 vs $1.98 for to singles. And the meal is expensive too - the value items seem like theyre the only way to go

well that wouldn't be a penny difference, would it? ;)
double cheeseburgers are $1 even. eat out, and you pay a flat $2 for 2 double cheeseburgers, at least I do.

I noticed that too. I ordered a regular cheeseburger then realized it was a better deal for the double.

I also eat there about 1 time per month and am 5'11.5 and 160 lbs.

most of the cost is in labor and overhead. they are charging what they think the market will bear.

Wendy's: 2.99 crispy chicken combo meal.

And McD's is definitely not for the poor, only the stupid. There are better places for the same price, it's not exactly fast, and it's certainly not cheap.

Personally, if I absolutely need something fast, I go to the grocery store and get a meal from the deli. 5.00 + glass of water or cola from machine = win

Yes, b/c there's always time to go in to the store, wait for the deli service line, pay, and fight your way out of the parking lot when you have 15 min to get food.

Yeah, and simply eating at McDs makes you stupid, which is why people like the president of Citrix says he grabs a bite to eat there in a pinch. Dumbass for sure!

haha, point made, though our grocery stores are never busy(unless you consider wal-mart a grocery store)

How about this as a compromise:

people with half a brain don't eat there on a regular basis.
