Apparently he was caught by some guy who wouldn't stand for such a thing.

Cause you can't kick her ass, and it's a given that someone's ass must be kicked.

My theory is, its not socially acceptable to punch out your girlfriend so you find the one male you can sort of blame for her actions and try to punch him out instead.

I think I'd just burn all her sh|t and change the locks instead.

Thoughts?
dude, you speak of punching out chicks a lot. i think you have a desire to do this.

You sound like a retard a lot. I think you're mentally disabled.

In that case, kick her to the curb, then kick your ex-pal into the curb.

It depends really. I would certainly want to know if the guy my SO cheated with knew that she was dating someone else. Personally, I think dating or going with someone who you know is in another relationship or married is wrong and that is the ultimate disrespect you can give another man.

That is why I would not only be pissed at my SO, I feel the guy involved, if he knows about me, deserves whatever he gets and whatever that might be, isn't good enough for him.

Certainly a valid point. But what exactly is the point of beating the crap out of him...yeah, it'll make you feel better for 10 seconds but whats it going to accomplish? There will always be a plethora of horn dogs trying to do your girlfriend. And you can't punch them all out. If that woman doesn't want to be faithful to you...what the hell is the point in fighting over her for?

I see your point. I don't necessarily feel as though I would be fighting "for" her. I look at it more as though you should always take up for yourself and the moral values that you stand for as well as others. I think this fits in that category. You know if you just walk away from a guy like that he is going to go do it to someone else.

My uncle was friends with a guy who got a kick out of doing these kinds of things. He would go into another mans house and sleep with his wife and thought it was great and that he would never get caught or that anyone would do anything about it. It came around that they found out he was missing for about a while, about a week later they found him with his gentilia cut off and burned alive. Apparently he was caught by some guy who wouldn't stand for such a thing.

And you know what? I feel like the world is better off without men like that. I don't think a bloody nose or a black eye is going to get a guy to stop those kinds of actions. But, death or a near death experience might. I personally am not going to fight anyone and go to jail over something I don't feel strongly about or strongly enough about that I'm not willing to kill someone over. That is just the way I am. If I'm going to fight, I might as well fight hard enough that one of us is going to the hospital or dead. And yes, I feel that strongly about this if I ever caught someone sleeping with my wife in my own bed that I would like to think that i'd have the balls to defend what I believe in.

Yeah, I hear what you're saying. But, whats best for you in this spot? You can knock the guys teeth in, and get arrested for assault. Maybe you'll get your ass kicked by him. But in the end, you just got to keep moving and leave it behind. You can't punch your way out of every problem, in fact...you can't punch your way out of most problems.

And I'm not saying that guy is some character worthy of respect or something or that you should be best friends. But, let some one else give him what he deserves.

Amen. :cookie: I'd still split his head open, but only after taking care of the above first.

In all seriousness, everyone should have a spare set of locks for their house... Something goes wrong & 20 minutes with a screwdriver changes things mightily.

You've been watching to much desperate housewives.
"mowing other people's lawns" is a derivative of the common phrase, "never mow another man's lawn"... if you still don't get it, there's a sexual connotation there... and it's not about a lawnboy.

I don't get why guys get mad at other guys for that either. There are plenty of times they aren't even mad at the girl. They just want to beat the other guy up. The other guy may have not known, or even if he did, it's not like he was in the relationship, I don't see how you can blame him.

Yeah, that is one of the things that sucks about being a man. "What do you have to lose by asking her out?" There's always an outside chance her drunken moron boyfriend that you didn't even know about will sucker punch you when you ask her for her number. :)

Of course, thats a good reason to avoid the bar scene. The caliber of women there aren't really worth the effort usually either.

Yes, usually a lot of the hot chicks there have gotten on every guy that's waltzed in the front door and bought them a drink because of self-esteem issues et al.

With the one vaguely similar incident I've been involved in, it was because the guy got off of hatef%$#ing his girlfriend after she "cheated" on him.

Yeah, they had a truly f%$#ed relationship.

It's a primitive territorial issue. The other guy is essentially guilty of trespassing on sacred ground.

Because he disrespected you and needs to be dealt with. I mean really, if you see somebody with their hand in your cookie jar do just sit there and act like nothing happened?

period.
