Everytime I have a day to leave early the other person doesn't show up?

I work in a very small office, it's perfect for a PT job while I'm in school. Anyways, someone needs to be here until 6pm to answer the phones. EVERY day that I clear it through the boss to leave early the other person doesn't show up! Meaning that they call in with "Oh car problems" or "Oh I'm not feeling well" or "Blah blah blah". Same thing happened last Friday, that's why I could leave early this week because I didn't get to last week!

j/k...just wanted to say that. Sucks man...maybe you should smack those lazy people around.

If it happened once or twice then sure NP...but in 6 months I haven't been able to leave early or take a day off when it was cleared because of this person.
