Well, technically this is a food safety issue and it doesn't matter how many pounds of food your supplier processes. Your manager should have filled out an incident report and inspected the remaining meat from the supplier. This could save you from possible litigation although this does depend somewhat on how well procedures were followed at your restaraunt and whether your meat supplier was following USDA and mandatory HACCP regulations

That said it sounds like they over reacted

Every fast food place I worked at had people of all colors, shapes and sizes. People just expect everything out of these places, and are frequently obnoxious.

Today this couple came in and was looking around the menu. They already had a bitchy look on their face. The chick asked me how big was our mini bowl and I showed her. Then she gave me this dirty ass look and said "ugh I already hate this place". In my head I was already thinking well bitch then leave.

I took their order anyway and didnt think much about it until 5 minutes later after the guy got his food runs up to the counter holding something out on his hand. Dude was yelling at me to look and Im like ok? What is it a nail, a bug, something what. Then he started yelling "CHICKEN BONE!!". I tell him okk what do you want me to do about it? We go through hundreds of pounds of chicken every day and hes going crazy over a bone thats half the size of my pinky? At pretty much any customer service position, you will see the worst of humanity. I worked at Geek Squad for a year. What a horrible experience. And I saw the worst of whites, blacks, Asians, and Indians.
