This happened a few mo's ago:
LOL. I got a call from a client stating that their keyboard wasn't working. I asked the usual questions and it came about that the son was playing a game and yanked the cable of his USB Joystick and after that the KB didn't work. They'd already tried replacing the keyboard AND gotten a new USB Card (because the USB ports were physically damaged).
Anyway, Upon hearing the joystick incident I said, "Oh, son has a bit of temper does he?" in jest/jokingly. The mother (whom I was speaking to) "Oh no, it was an accident". I laughed (inside/ thinking) YEAH Right. Whatever. Told her the port may be shot and that a USB keyboard may be the only option.
So, I bought a USB Keyboard to bring w/me--just in case the PS2 Port was fried. When I got there, I got the USB keyboard working but the PS2 Port was indeed shot. However, I noticed that the usb port on the MB was mighty bent to hell and looked like it may be shorted out. While I was closing the case up, I unbent the metal so it wasn't shorted out, and on a hunch, connected the PS2 keyboard back. It worked. The USB port was totally shredded though, missing the internal plastic and such so it was just decoration but the keyboard worked again. Ended up returning the USB Keyboard.
The son is ~8-10yo.

Personally, I've never damaged any hardware / software out of anger (at least that I can remember, if I did it would be something insignificant like a floppy disk). I have gotten mighty po'd playing some games though. I usually quit playing when I'm about ready to break something. I don't generally get annoyed at my failings unless the computer / sw is cheating to hell (as Skoorb identified).

In regards to the testosterone problem, You can send the Girl to PO BOX ... 😉😀
Seriously, stop playing games you've got something else you should be doing w/ your time!
