Iv noticed that I will have a slight dandruff problem when my hair is longer then 3 1/2 - 4 inches

what causes this ?

Its fine after i use dandruff shampoo but that stuff rapes my hair and makes it look dead...

i shower 2 - 3 times a day

once in the morning (If i dont shower i cant stay awake )

once in the afternoon after school

and once when i get home from work

I try to keep my head oil free as possible

Thanks

Well I thought i read some where on the tubes that oil is what causes dandruff

Uhhhh... dandruff is dry/irritated skin. How exactly is oil going to dry your skin?

The oil your body produces naturally evolved to moisturize your skin. Remove/negate it and you get dandruff.

Dandruff can also be caused by some species of fungi, but dry scalp is by far the most prevalent.
