Why is it so difficult for pitchers to accept the fact that Barry Bonds RULES?

37 baby. This dawg is gonna hit 75 before this season is over. The worst part is, his team will be around .500
 
Bonds is off the hook totally. And what is really scary, he generally hits 20 from August to the end of the season. He will go way past 60 unless he gets hurt. The only people getting hurt right now are the pitchers. Dude has like 70 hits. 37 jacks and like 10-12 doubles. Dude has a slugging percentage of over .900. Bonds right now rules!
 
His OPS is off the charts right now. If he can sustain this for the whole season, I would call it the greatest power-hitting season in the history of the game.
 
Let's see how much he rules when he throws his back out again, or when he chokes in the playoffs like he has always done.

 
Mr. May??? LOL Bonds is usually a second half of the season hitter. And lets be honest here, there's a LOT of homer friendly parks in the NL right now, and Pac Bell is one of em.
 
Well, one thing for McGwire to hang on to when his record goes down is the park thing. I think that Bonds has at least 3 more Homerfriendly parks than Mac had. Pac Bell of course is the hugest one. Miller Park and PNC are two more. I think that accounts for maybe up to 10 homers when all is said and done. If Barry hits like 70 this year, that will give him like 560 for his career. He will be 37 then. I can very easily see him playing 5 more seasons or so and averaging about 40 a year, maybe more and getting the big record.
