BTW, a "natural born citizen" has been considered one who is the child of parents who are citizens. That they are temporarily in another region doesn't alter the fact that it would be ridiculous to consider the alternative. What of a child is born on the dividing line between Canada and the US? Is one half Canadian and the other a US citizen? Does that make birther's legitimate? Hardly. But then again I can call a thing dumb before asking which party thought of it.

I understand that partisan conservative mentality require criticism to be mutually exclusive. If I didn't support Iraq I was Democrat. If I find Obama to be less than worship worthy I'm in the Republican camp. Their conservative outlooks excuse Bush and blame Clinton. They look at Obama and blame Bush. Now there's a lot of blame to go around, especially about Iraq, but lo, do you chastise Obama for ignoring those perhaps half a million dead? By no means! Do directly contradict my points against Obama? No, you play the Bush card. That would be an excellent strategy to get under a partisan's skin, however you (again) have failed to notice that I wasn't a fan of Bush. Now not everything that Obama has to deal with was his own creation, but what matters is how he plays the hand he's dealt. I think he doesn't deserve the godlike powers attributed to Obama that Pony Pal seems to think he has, rewriting history and all, or are you going to say that Obama singlehandly saved the economy? The point is that the Obama isn't OJeebus as he must be to have at once saved the economy and have median income and the middle class take a huge hit. Is that all Obama's fault? No it's not. Like Bush, he's inherited problems (you do remember the collapse of the tech bubble which largely drove much of the economy, don't you?) Well Bush didn't save us, Obama didn't perform miracles and they are both first and foremost politicians who have you and your conservatively minded Conservatives and Liberals so enthralled that you'll reach entirely for irrelevancies in unrelated posts in order to defend your personal lord and savior's honor, which wasn't the point of my comment to begin with.

The problem is how so much of the GOP has become the fringe. If it were just the fringe then it wouldn't be such a big deal. But the entirety of conservative media, the entirety of the Tea Party, all of the GOP leadership, I can't think of any Republican members of Congress that don't show that fringe behavior. I know more liberals than I do conservatives and the amount of crazy shit I see posted by conservatives in comparison to crazy shit from liberals is like a 100:1 ratio.
